🌿 What makes Lilly Pilly Grove different from other nurseries?

We’re Brisbane’s only nursery that specialises exclusively in Lilly Pillies. We grow hardy, pest-resistant varieties that are ideal for our local climate, and we deliver directly to homes across the Brisbane metro area every week.

🌿 What's the advantage of purchasing from a grower?

Purchasing direct from the grower is the best way to save money. No middlemen — just healthy, fast-growing Lilly Pillies grown by locals, for locals.

🌿 Are your Lilly Pilly varieties psyllid-resistant?

Yes — most of our varieties, including Resilience, Elite, and Select, are carefully chosen for their resistance to common pests like psyllids and white wax scale. 

🌿 How fast will my Lilly Pilly grow?

Under the right conditions, many Lilly Pilly varieties will grow 1–2 m per year — especially during the warmer months. With regular watering, full sun, and light tip pruning, you can expect a thick, lush hedge in as little as 18–24 months.

🌿 How far apart should I plant them for a privacy hedge?

We recommend:

• 1 m spacing for standard privacy hedges

• 50 cm spacing for faster, denser screens

• Up to 1.5 m spacing for larger-growing varieties or informal hedges

🌿 Do you deliver to my suburb?

We deliver weekly across Brisbane metro and selected surrounding areas (including parts of Ipswich, Redlands, Logan, and Moreton Bay). Orders of 10 or more plants receive free delivery. Smaller orders attract a low flat-rate delivery fee. If unsure, feel free to email us at lillypillygrove@gmail.com.
 

🌿 When will my order arrive?

We deliver every Thursday and Friday. Orders placed before Wednesday 11 am will be delivered the same week.

🌿 Can I pick up my plants instead of delivery?

We’re an online-only nursery, so we currently do not offer pickups. However, our delivery is fast, affordable, and plant-safe — we guarantee your order arrives fresh and ready to plant.

🌿 How do I care for my new Lilly Pilly?

Water regularly (especially in the first 6–8 weeks)

• Mulch generously to retain moisture

• Tip prune every few months to encourage bushy growth

• Fertilise seasonally with a balanced native fertiliser
